Bringing Home Task Orders
Dear InfoBase Subscribers,

The U.S. government's growing use of multiple-awardee contracts is no passing fancy. Agencies love the flexibility and responsiveness which these vehicles provide. InfoBase's Programs module has reports on more than 400 active multiple-awardee ID/IQ technology contracts (excluding construction) with program caps approaching $1.5 trillion. That equates to an average value of $3.75 billion per "MAIQ".

Coming to grips with these vehicles means understanding the task orders awarded under them. To that end InfoBase is pleased to announce that its extensive holdings on these multiple-awardee vehicles now include the ability to look at spending by task orders. The interface is straightforward and the coverage is comprehensive. And because this is DACIS content, there are linkages back to the companies doing the work and the customers they're doing it for. And also ready access to every single obligation under every task order.

Here are a few sample programs to get you started (sorry, they won't work if you're a visitor to our website, but we'd be happy to give you a tour):Our work in this area is not done. We hope to have more to show you by year's end.

Best regards,
