Cash is King: Introducing DM&A's New "Cash Flow - Acquisitions" Feature
Dear Defense Mergers & Acquisitions (DM&A) Subscribers,
The latest addition to the DM&A service can be found under the Features section of the DM&A home page.
Entitled "Cash Flow - Acquisitions" it provides a ranking of cash spent on acquisitions by the top 100 publicly held buyers for the 2004-2006 timeframe. Pretty remarkable stuff... nobody in the industry tracks this metric in this way, and it provides great insight into who's buying and what the trends in their spending have been.
But wait... There's more.
In this ranking the numbers given for each company in each year are clickable—and clicking them opens up, right on the spot, a boxed listing of deals completed by the company during that fiscal year. This certifiably our first use of "Web 2.0" technology in any of our modules. And it looks like the beginnings of a beautiful friendship.
And there's still one more thing.
Clicking on any of the transactions in that boxed listing of deals will take you straight to our writeup of the transaction in the DM&A Database.
We think you're going to like this feature, which like the Buyer Profiles feature makes use of data from our unreleased Financials module. We trust you're enjoying this advance look at our newest service.
And we trust, too, that you've been getting good use from the continuing expansion of the DM&A service in the monhs since we've stopped producing the DM&A newsletter in paper format in June. Since that time we've rolled out the DM&A Buyer Profiles, the DM&A Daily eNewsletter, and now this, the Cash Flow - Acquisitions page. And there are still a couple more tricks up our sleeves. Stay tuned.
Best regards,
