Defense Mergers & Acquisitions (DM&A) is the defense/aerospace industry's premiere M&A service. Published since 1989, its readership includes U.S. and international defense companies, investment banks and advisors, consultancies, and government organizations.
Our mission is simple: provide you with the most thorough and update coverage of the industry's M&A activity, and to illuminate it with our proprietary analysis and cutting-edge online features. One of our investment banking clients sees the value of the DM&A proposition this way: "I'm drowning in data. You guys give me the perspective and insight that I get nowhere else."

The DM&A Service includes:
- DM&A Database Module. U.S. intelligence agencies have rated our DM&A Database the best in the business. Many of the biggest investment firms on Wall Street subscribe, as do all of the industry's top 10 firms. The database contains more than 13,000 records, including transactions going back to the beginning of the 1980s. New transactions are added daily, while old transactions are modified to reflect new information as it becomes available (including financial information from SEC filings).
- DM&A Daily eNewsletter. Our respected DM&A Daily eNewsletter arrives daily in our customers' email. Who’s buying who, who’s on the block, who’s advising who, and what we think about it—it’s all here, and a lot of it is nowhere else.
- Buyer Profiles. A look at the industry's top buyers, with deals grouped by operating sector (along with the financials for each sector, in the case of publicly held firms). A unique and insightful way to look at your competitors' strategies and priorities.
- DM&A Articles. The articles appearing in our DM&A Daily eNewsletter offer incisive, original, and often provocative commentary on the strategies being employed by the industry's leading dealmakers. Click here to read examples.
- DM&A Top 100. Dynamically generated pages provide a rank-ordered look at the industry's top deals for each year since 2004. And each deal is linked to our DM&A Database, giving you full access to that deal's numbers and description.
- Investment Banks. Lists more than three dozen financial advisors involved in industry transactions, from mega-banks to advisors specializing in middle-market and boutique acquisitions. Advisors are identifed on the buy side and sell side for hundreds of transactions.
- Comparable Deals. View industry market sectors, and market niches, for U.S. and international dealmaking activity. Our sectors are both product-oriented (e.g. "Homeland Security - Biometric Identification") and topic-oriented (e.g. "Strategic Acquisitions of Small C4ISR Companies by Top Defense Firms").
- DM&A Interviews. Conducted for us on an exclusive basis by Minuteman Ventures' Paul Serotkin, our DM&A Interviews feature the industry's most respected, and active, dealmakers.

Links
- Companies. Since November 1999 we've been creating links between the DM&A Database module and the Companies module contained in our DACIS service. With these links you can analyze a company's program base, M&A history, contracts (both awarded and pending) and facility information. These links are only available to subscribers who have purchased our Combo subscription package (which includes both the DM&A and DACIS services).
- Newswire. As deals pass from rumor to letters of intent to definitive agreement and finally to completion, we publish Newswire items daily on our website describing their progress. Look here also for regulatory news. Links are provided back to the main record in the DM&A Database module.
